The Girls Field Hockey League was established in 1998 and is in its TWENTY-EIGHTH season!

HIGH SCHOOL GAMES: Teams will follow a schedule that will provided to the team representative and posted on the website after registration has closed.

High school teams are managed by the team rep and not GFH.

Game Location: Nansemond River High School

Tentative Game Dates

May 27, June 3, 10, 17, 24, July 21 (tentative makeup dates: Thursdays and July 8)

Teams are divided by age groups and coached by knowledgeable staff. Teams will practice prior to and during the season with their coaches. The location will be determined by the coach to best suit the team. Practice attendance is not mandatory, but highly recommended to learn and practice skills. Teams will be listed on the website by May 14th with coach’s contact information.

All Athletes Will NEED: Shin guards, Mouthpiece and a Stick

League Cost: $110** (ages 7 and up)

League Cost: $90 (ages 4-6- one night a week)

**Add Additional fee of $10 if registration is received after May 5th

Any sign-ups after May 13, MAY NOT be guaranteed the exact jersey size requested.

It is acknowledged that the decision to engage in the above activities is entered into freely, and that GFH, its agents, agencies, servants and employees have not influences the decisions to engage in such activities.

While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and, I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases.
